7200 “House Truck” Takes Second Straight Championship
December 9, 2014
Two different drivers, two different series; the results are the same. Brenthel Industries took their “in house” 7200 class truck to its second consecutive points championship while racing at the BITD Henderson 250. Jordan Brenthel capped off a great rookie season when he finished on the podium in third place during the final race of the Best In The Desert series.
Jordan and the Brenthel Industries race team took the points lead at the first race of the season and never relinquished it the entire year. Jordan’s brother Jonathan captured the SCORE series 7200 championship racing in his rookie season as well in 2013.
“The truck was originally built as a test mule for our 7200 design,” says Jordan, “I think this proves without a doubt how reliable and competitive our trucks are. We took this truck to the SCORE championship last year and backed it up with a second straight championship in the Best In The Desert series this year. We’ve challenged the best 7200 racers in both series and come away with back to back championships. Of course it takes a team effort; our crew is excellent, Josh Rigsby has helped with the driving and Rigid Industries LED Lighting, Falken Tire, King Shocks, Method Race Wheels, Rancho Performance Transmission, CBM Motorsports and Jamar Performance Products have all helped us to campaign a bullet proof truck. We suffered zero parts failures all year.”
Jordan will be moving into the Brenthel Industries class 6100 truck in 2015 to continue its fine tuning. Brenthel has several 6100 trucks in the dirt with more on the way. The 6100 class is exploding in popularity and drivers are anxious to get their hands on the latest technology from Brenthel Industries.
Jon Lee has also had great success behind the wheel of his Brenthel Industries 7200 truck. He has all but wrapped up championships in the MORE and SNORE racing series’ and is currently leading in overall points heading into the final SNORE race of the season, Rage at the River in Laughlin, Nevada.
Back to back titles speak well for the truck design but it also says a lot about the entire operation at Brenthel Industries. Their design, manufacturing, race support and logistics have all become a well-oiled machine. They have taken back to back titles in two distinctly different race series, competed in the legendary Dakar Rally and provided a steady stream of competitive race vehicles, prerunners and “Baja Kits” bolt on suspension systems for a long list of happy customers. Nothing validates hard work better than winning results. Created in CAD on the computer and then proven on the race course, Brenthel Industries leads the way by design.
